The Dotfam Association

The DOTFAM Association wishes to create a well structured system for families in continuous development with the Internet environment.

The DOTFAM Association was created with the principal objective of consolidating the institutional side of the Family on the Internet in two ways:

• To obtain a new Top Level Domain ".fam" which must be done in cooperation with the ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers."
• To create a specific environment for families around the world, using new technologies, which would protect the nature and rights of these families.

Its about giving an answer to the growing needs of families and integrating new technologies in their everyday lives, creating "Cyber homes".

The priority for the association is to create a presence for families on the net. For that to happen, it is necessary to organize marketing campaigns and to obtain the support of all those institutions and organizations that represent the family world-wide.
